Surface Duo second screen is turned into a gamepad for Xbox gaming

Microsoft has recently introduced mobile-friendly touch controls for more than 50 Xbox game pass tiles. Along with this, they also launched Minecraft Dungeons last September. All the touchscreen optimized games like Grand Theft Auto V, Sea of Thieves, and other are already having customizations. These customizations include the ability to move the controls so that you don’t get into your way. Right now, Microsoft is trying to add a virtual controller for Xbox Game Pass to the surface duo dual-screen tablet.

This is going to be the update that will only work when you use a device like a laptop. This means that it should be in a landscape orientation or compose mode, as Microsoft has dubs it. The half-folded setup is going to be displayed with the Xbox Game Pass title that you are playing on the top screen and the touchscreen buttons for control will be there on the bottom.

Probing further, this sounds like one of the most useful updates for mobile gamers, we will try out how it really works in the real life. Testing the surface duo, Cherlynn Low is having some issues at present because it is making most of the screen space in Compose Mode. All the applications will be jumping around and keyboard inputs not registering. But don’t worry as Microsoft has fixed this with updates paying the way for its cloud gaming makeover.
